Popular Ghanaian Comedian, Clemento Suarez is one of Ghana’s very fast rising comedians. He is widely known for his role in one of the most– watched Comedy programmes in Ghana,‘Kejetia Vs Makola’ a comic portrayal of court proceedings in Ghanaian courtrooms.
As the Ghana Comedy Awards draws closer, nominations for various categories are currently ongoing. Clemento Suarez has been nominated as one of the contenders for ‘Comedian of the year’ at this year’s edition of the Ghana Comedy Awards 2025.
Clement Ashiteye known as Clemento Suarez, is a Ghanaian comedian and actor.
After studying the industry, Clemento Suarez began his career in 2011 by doing unpaid work. He later decided to become a professional comedian. Clemento has worked with creative directors such as Latif Abubakar, and has featured in the Ghanaian TV series Kejetia vs Makola. He co-hosted the third edition of the 3Music Awards with O. B. Amponsah which was the first virtual award concert organized in Ghana during lock-down period because of COVID-19. Clemento Suarez was also named together with Gladys Owiredu by organizers of the Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) as hosts of the 2021 Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) awards ceremony.

Clemento Suarez is married to his long–time girlfriend Sylvia Bioh, and they live happily together.
