Founder and Board Chairman of Bills Microcredit in Ghana, Richard Nii Armah Quaye has shared a snippet of preparations towards his 40th birthday celebration which is scheduled to take place at Ghana’s Independence Square today.
The video shared via his Instagram page on March 17, show the setting up of stages and decorations at the Independence Square ahead of the ‘luxurious’ birthday bash.
Friends, families and relatives have been given invitation cards for the party on Saturday, March 22 at the Independence Square.
The packaged invite came along with an access card in a medal form in addition to an invitation card with details of the party.

Prior to this, the successful businessman on Thursday, March 13, captured the public attention after acquiring for himself a custom-branded private jet and a high-end Bugatti Chiron to mark his 40th birthday. He shared a post to reveal the private jet which was inscribed with his initials, RNAQ and captioned the post “…and I got myself a jet too #RNAQ40,”

A storm of comments was sparked by the entrepreneur’s ostentatious Instagram pictures revealing his most recent expensive acquisitions. In a recent interview with Bola Ray on YouTube, Richard Quaye recalled a memorable and transformative encounter he had with his lecturer in the UK.
According to him, the lecturer foretold his entrepreneurial success when he was much younger.
“My lecturer, Michael Mainwaring, called me aside one day and asked, ‘Richard, what are your plans after school?’ And I was like, I’m trying to think about it to see whether I will go, and he was like ‘No, I want to believe that when you go back home, you will succeed way better than when you stay here.
“You will make it very big back home, and your success will open doors for you to return to the UK. But this time, you should come back in my private jet and come and pay me a visit,” he said.

According to a leaked copy of the guest list making rounds on social media, the event intends to bring in an impressive list of industry giants including:
Aliko Dangote, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru (The King of the Ga Kngdom), Ghana’s current President John Dramani Mahama, and some of Ghana’s most prominent Entrepreneurs like Osei Kwame Despite, Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong amongst others.
The star-studded event is also scheduled to have performances from global artistes like Nigeria’s Davido, Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz and a host of Ghanaian artistes like Stonebwoy, King Promise Efya and a host of other African celebrities.
