Jamaican dancehall star Vybz Kartel has officially confirmed that Kenya will be part of his 2025 world tour.
According to the star, Kenya holds a special place in his heart, with its people having embraced him as one of their own.
Speaking on his upcoming performance, Kartel expressed his deep appreciation for the love and support he’s received from Kenyans over the years.
“The people of Kenya consider me as one of their own, so it’s only fair that I go and perform there.”
This isn’t the first time Kartel has hinted at performing in the East African country.
Despite being imprisoned for 13 years, Vybz Kartel’s music has continued to grow with fans across the globe, especially in Kenya, where dancehall culture has a huge following.
Vybz Kartel shared that Kenyan fans have remained loyal throughout his incarceration and have long desired his live performance.
