Ms. Laury Georges-Lane is the Leader behind LGL Consulting and Executive Advisory Group LLC based in Florida USA.
Laury Georges-Lane, the youngest of two daughters, was destined to lead a purposeful life. Originally from Miami, Florida, and born to Haitian immigrant parents her path to success has been fueled by an unwavering passion for education and relentless ambition.
Laury began her professional journey with aspirations of becoming a United States Federal Agent upon completing her undergraduate studies. Georges-Lane’s personal goal was to join a law enforcement agency with a direct mandate to protect the nation’s interests across various domains. She was deeply committed to the principles of public service and envisioned a career focused on safeguarding her country. She believed in public service. Both parents, now retired, were dedicated public servants, modeling this commitment through their work in education and local government, specifically within the public works sector.
Her academic achievements include three degrees: a Juris Law degree specializing in Labor and Employment, a Master’s of Science in Human Resource Management MSc, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Criminal Law. Additionally, she holds certifications as a Florida Supreme Court mediator and through the Harvard Business Extension School.
According to Laury, her motivation pivoted a few years later, driven by an emerging interest of safeguarding the workforce and employer rights equally and promoting overall equity—an interest that evolved into a successful 27-year career in HR and legal expertise.
As a single mother, Laury’s 16-year-old daughter continuously inspires her to deepen her dedication to establishing herself as a global change agent. She actively cultivates balance in her life through intense self-care and nurturing her strong faith. When not advocating for a cause, she loves exploring diverse cultures across multiple continents and the Caribbean. Living in a state of constant gratitude, she cherishes the God winks and ensures laughter is a daily part of her journey.
Philanthropy and Social Impact
Service creates tangible commitments toward accelerating opportunities for philanthropy. It is at the core of Georges-Lane’s personal life and business endeavors as reflected through her company, LGL Consulting and Executive Advisory Group, and its international subsidiary. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a critical component of the company’s brand identity, especially given the work with the adoption of the Village of Sipane in Western Senegal and the complete renovation of its only primary school.
