Global African Times wishes our dear family and audience in Nigeria, a Happy Independence Day today. Every October 1st, Nigeria the Giant of Africa celebrates her Independence from Colonial Rule.
And so today, as the world’s most populous black nation celebrates 64 years of Independence, We hope that this independence reflects in improving the livelihood and living standards of Nigerians and that freedom of expression for its citizens becomes the norm.
Nigeria is home to some of Africa’s and I dare say the world’s most resilient, hardworking, and enterprising set of human beings on the planet.
And as this year’s independence is commemorated in Nigeria and amongst our brothers and sisters Nigerians all across the world.
We hope that the Giant of Africa will Arise once again and take her rightful place amongst the committee of the most reckoned nations that take pride in the upliftment of her people.
